Colorado: Our Colorful State, Teacher's Supplement

by Duane A. Smith and Kate Shuchter

This book is designed to be more like a book of stories than a textbook. Therefore, we have foregone the tradition of placing questions and activity suggestions with the text itself.

What you will find here are some basic questions you may want to use to reinforce and check on your students' understanding of what they are reading. They are by no means meant to be absolutely comprehensive in terms of everything mentioned in the text. Please use them as you see fit, adding to or subtracting from them in order to suit the way you are using the text and emphasizing particular information and concepts. The answers provided are not necessarily the only correct ones, either, but they do serve as guidelines. In some cases, when the questions asks for an opinion or discussion, no answer is given.

Student worksheets with the chapter questions have been included at the end of this supplement for your convenience.
