2019-2020 Annual Report

The last quarter of our fiscal year that ended on June 30, 2020, will be remembered for the incredibly disruptive impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on communities and businesses around the globe. In the face of this massive disturbance to daily life, University Press of Colorado | Utah State University Press, as you can see from the infographic below, continued to produce books, serve our members, and deliver on our mission to advance and disseminate knowledge globally by publishing significant scholarly works and making them accessible.

I am deeply grateful for the hard work and flexibility of our amazing staff, authors, and trustees; the continued support of our member institutions; and financial assistance from the Small Business Administration, received in the form of Payroll Projection Plan and Economic Injury Disaster Loans. Hopefully someday soon we will be able to celebrate our accomplishments together, in person and not through a screen. Until then, know that you are deeply appreciated for your part in the contributions to knowledge reflected below.

—Darrin Pratt, Director
