Laura Wilder is associate professor of English at the University at Albany, SUNY, where she has been recognized with the SUNY Chancellor’s Award for Excellence in Teaching. Her first book, Rhetorical Strategies and Genre Conventions in Literary Studies, was awarded the 2014 CCCC Research Impact Award. Her articles have appeared in journals such as Written Communication, Research in the Teaching of English, The WAC Journal, and Pedagogy.
