Sarah R. Taylor is assistant professor of anthropology at California State University, Dominguez Hills. Her research focuses on the sustainability of community-based tourism development, transmission of traditional ecological knowledge, and the cultural drivers of land use and land cover change in rural Yucatán, Mexico.
