Writing Research, Pedagogy, and Policy
Elizabeth Wardle (Miami University), Series Editor
This series publishes empirical research about writing, broadly conceived, with a focus on scholarship that seeks to affect pedagogy, practice, or policy in education or civic/public contexts, nationally or internationally. We are particularly interested in soliciting manuscripts on empirical studies with an emphasis in/on writing centers, writing across the curriculum initiatives, writing-related professional development programs, writing assessment, collaborations between writing centers and libraries, and work with English-language learners. This focus on empirical research includes not only institutional research sites, but also cross-institutional research sites, including those that consider changing scenes of education and how they are influencing writing.
All proposals for the Writing Research, Pedagogy, and Policy series should follow the press submission guidelines, and submission will be evaluated by the press acquisitions staff, the series editors and/or editorial board, as well as outside experts.
